Natalie Zysko ~ Owner
Enzee boutique was opened by Natalie Zysko in 2002, just 18 months after her graduation from Dominican University with a degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Merchandising, and Business Administration. She had previously worked in retail since the age of 16 and wanted to continue on a career path that would allow her to help people create their own sense of style. She saw a void in the Elmhurst market for a boutique. Recognizing how great the area is, she began crafting a business plan and opened the doors to her namesake shop (using her initials N.Z. spelled out) in late November. Since then, she has been grateful to provide a fun atmosphere with up to date trends for her customers season after season.
Natalie loves to research new trends and travels far and wide to find them. “I love to watch new ideas bubbling up and evolving over time,” she explains. Natalie and her buyers visit New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Atlanta to find up to date fashions for her customers. She also enjoys creating custom made jewelry for her clients and merchandising the store.
Natalie’s style is all about the accessories! Her personal collection is one to envy. “You can take a clean simple silhouette and make it beautifully adored and give it a stylish character all your own,” is her personal fashion philosophy. Her favorite enzee lines include Melie Bianco, La Vie Parisenne, Free People, and Weston Wear.
Dana Wellings ~ Manager
Dana Wellings joined enzee boutique shortly after graduating from Dominican University in 2006 with degrees in Apparel Design, Fashion Merchandising, and Business Administration. Prior to that, she spent her high school years honing her retail skills at the mall and graduated from high school early to accept a management position. She continued her retail career throughout college while juggling many late nights in the sewing lab. This gave her a true appreciation for clothing construction, tailoring, and fabrics. Her design work has been featured in the International Apparel and Textile Association Design Competition and the International Home and House Wares Show.
Dana describes her sense of style as “a little bit of everything.” Naturally, she loves managing enzee boutique because of the wide range of styles in the store. Her favorite lines include Kensie, Miss Me and Clara Beau.
She was never cut out for a cubicle and appreciates that she gets to do a little bit of everything and no two days are the same at enzee boutique. Dana has a knack for finding new and innovative fashions for the store before they hit the mainstream; which is exactly what our customers crave.
Nancy Hansen Resing ~ Manager
Nancy joined us in 2007 and has brought a lot of experience and knowledge to the enzee family. Nancy has been involved in retail for over 25 years and has worked in every facet of the business from ownership, buying, managing, and selling. Nancy went to the University of Dayton where she received a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She is also a certified image and color consultant. Nancy has worked for small boutiques over the years along with larger chains like The Limited. She owned her own shop for two years, and was a manager for The Limited off and on for eight years.
Her sense of style is unique, or as she would put it “hippie-chic,” which helps bring a special flair to the enzee customer. Her favorite lines include Free People, Desigual, and Flying Tomato. Nancy hasn’t met an outfit that she can’t accessorize. She understands the fashion needs of the enzee customer, young and mature, and makes everyone leave the store feeling good about their purchase.
