Some of our top trends for the season come straight from the runways. From the lace and crochet details and nautical stripes at Oscar de la Renta to the monochromatic looks at Jason Wu and the boho-cowgirl looks from Ella Moss, there is sure to be something for everyone at enzee boutique. Other key trends include the DIY look with tie dye and ombre effects and the carry-over of last season’s romantic look.
Get ready to play peek-a-boo with this season’s lace, crochet, and eyelet details. Whether it’s a trim, a strategically placed cutout, or the entire garment, this trend is everywhere. Stop in and check out our crochet shorts from Costa Blanca and Tulle. Tops with this trend include casual styles from Mystree that can be paired with a colored Tee’s by Tina cami underneath. Also, featured is our eyelet sleeveless top from new line, Patrons of Peace.
Another great trend is the nautical stripe. While most people may shy away from a stripe, it can actually be quite flattering when done the right way. This Pink Martini dress, for example, has been designed with the stripes in different directions to create a flattering shape on a variety of body types. Another key thing to remember with this trend is draping. Horizontal stripes in a drapey fabric, such as this top from Elan are much more “body friendly.”
Don’t be afraid to wear all one color or various shades of the same color this season now that “Monochromania” is here! Black, white, and greys were seen all over the runways and many of our featured designers have tried the trend. Our favorites include a chevron dress from Press, and a black and white tunic from Ariella.
With temperatures on the rise it wouldn’t be Springtime without some free – spirited boho looks. This season it has a little cowgirl twist (think the characters from the show “Nashville” when they are off-stage). We can always count on Free People to supply us with some great pieces to sport to the season’s festivals, concerts, and bbqs and even Spanish designer Desigual has created some great pieces that follow this trend. In addition, DIY details such as tie dye and ombre are making a comeback. Our favorites include affordable tops from Love 4 Anouka and G-Scent which can be perfectly paired with some skinny ankle pants from !iT Jeans or JAG.
